Business Report Organization: Title Section

The first page of a business report is the title page.  This includes the name of the report,  the authors, date, and any other information deemed important enough.  Often the title page is also the cover or top of the printed report.

The table of contents includes section titles and page numbers. Subsection titles and additional subtitle information can be included, depending on the length of the report.

The overview or executive summary is an thumbnail description of the report.  This can also be called an abstract or a précis.

You can click on other section names for more detailed descriptions.
