Format and Organization in the Business Proposal
The format and organization of a proposal depend on both the type of proposal and the intended audience or recipient.
If you are unsure what format you should use, ask the intended recipient for a description or example of the type of document they expect.
In many cases, whether your proposal is for a potential customer or for someone within your own company, the recipient will provide a document listing the requirements for your proposal. These requirements may be contained in the original request for proposal (RFP)
