| How many complete sentences are in this description?
Two old men in our neighborhood share a small apartment. With their five cats and three dogs. They take a walk every day. At first glance, it looks like there are three sentences. But notice that "With their five cats and three dogs" has no subject or verb and so is not a complete sentence. It is a sentence fragment. |
